Idle may not go up very much, each will respond different according to temp, altitude ect, the best way to adjust is to turn scrcew in just till it seats, then turn screw out 2 full turns. Then test ride, shut down see how it starts.its where I keep mine in summer. 3 full turns out in winter, convert air filter to foam, but leave cover to airbox in place ,but you can remove rubber divider at inlet under seat.that really should be it.To adjust idle screw since there is no tach i snap throttle if it stalls its too low obviously so i turn it up 1/4 turn and snap throttle again until it doesn't stall,MINE runs perfect like this never misses a THUMP.KOT Giro
